April 2000 - Studio West Recording Studios

The demo is almost done. This month we add the flute part - mix down and make the CD master. This takes about 7 more hours and two visits to the studio.

January 2000 - Studio West Recording Studios

We're going into the recording studio at the end of January to record our demo cd. We've slated four of our most popular songs (and requested) for the recording and we hope to have enough time to do a fifth one.

These songs are: Dance With Me, Don't Be Afraid of the Water, Sometimes I Feel and Sit Down Beside Me. If we are lucky enough to get the four tracks down fast enough and have the time we want to add a fifth track The Tree Song. Our cousin in Kansas is a Photographer who does multi media shows. This year he plans to do one with the Kansas Philharmonic and wants to include The Tree Song in his presentation. A cd version would be better than a home style recording so we're hoping to get this track down after recording the official demo.

October 1999- Alzheimer's Walk at Sea World in San Diego, California

This is the second year in a row that Jody & Company Band played for the entrants and supporters of the annual Alzheimer's Walk held at Sea World. The event was a great success. We hope to continue playing there every year.

December 1999- Festival of Lights at the Wild Animal Park, San Diego California

The Band had a lot of fun performing at San Diego's Wild Animal Park this Christmas. We played twice - Sunday the 19th and Sunday the 26th. The audiences were great and the staff were very happy with the sound. Some of the entertainment scared the animals because they played so loud so they were a bit worried about us as we set up. When we began to play they sighed in relief and they want us back again sometime this year.
